Who we are
This notice explains how Security Inspect (Security Inspect LLC) handles personal information collected through securityinspect.com. In this notice, “we” and “us” mean that company.
We work with U.S.-based organizations in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. We don't accept international engagements. This notice is written for visitors in the United States.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, we ask for your name, email address, the service or topic you're interested in, and your message, and for most topics your company or organization. Any other fields are optional. Marketing email is a separate, unchecked choice, and you don't need to accept it to send an inquiry.
Please don't send sensitive information
We don't collect sensitive evidence through this website. Please don't send passwords or other credentials, sensitive incident details, payment card data, health information, or controlled defense information through a website form. When an engagement needs sensitive evidence, we arrange a secure channel with you after initial contact.
Information collected automatically
Hosting and security systems may process technical information such as an IP address, request path, browser details, and time for delivery, abuse prevention, and security logging. Our analytics records contain only daily aggregate totals and don't store IP addresses, device identifiers, or individual browsing histories.
How we use it
We use this information to reply to your inquiry, scope and propose work you ask about, keep a record of our correspondence, and keep the website secure. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
No sale, sharing, or targeted ads
We don't sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the state you live in, privacy law may give you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to get a copy, and to opt out of certain uses. Whether a particular law applies depends on its thresholds and exemptions. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request. Where state law allows, an authorized agent can make a request for you. If we decline a request, we'll explain why and tell you how to appeal where the law provides for an appeal.
To make a request, use our contact form and choose “Privacy request” as the topic. Tell us which request you’re making.
How long we keep it
- Nothing you type in the contact form is sent to or stored on our servers until you press Send.
- Spam and rejected submissions are deleted after 30 days.
- Inquiries that don't become engagements are deleted 12 months after the last meaningful interaction.
- Active client records follow the signed contract and applicable legal and accounting schedules.
- Raw website and security logs are kept for 90 days.
- Daily aggregate analytics totals are kept for up to 14 months. We don't create identifiable analytics-event records.
- Encrypted backups expire on a rolling basis within 35 days.
- If you opt out, we keep only the minimum record needed to honor that request.
- Legal holds and documented statutory obligations override routine deletion.
Service providers
Vercel provides website hosting and content delivery. Supabase provides database and authentication services for the inquiry system and staff portal.
Where it's stored
Website and inquiry data is processed by the service providers named in this notice. Any location commitments for engagement data are defined in the applicable contract.
Security
We protect personal information with access controls, encryption in transit, and limited retention. No website or storage system is completely secure.
Children
This website is meant for business audiences. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Contact us about privacy
Every inquiry starts with the contact form on this website, including security vulnerability reports and privacy requests. We don't publish an email address, phone number, or postal address.
